Romantic accommodation in Hermanus – The Rose Room (Double Room)
The charming Rose Room with its wood burning fireplace and king size bed (or twins) sleeps 2 persons plus 2 additional guests (single beds) in an inter leading bright sun room that looks out over the garden, making it ideal for a family of 4. We will have a backup battery power system, so guests will not be affected by Eskom electricity load shedding.
The bathroom has a walk in shower and a corner bath with handles for the comfort of our more senior guests.
A small self-catering kitchenette service area and dining table gives you the convenient option of preparing light meals or heating take away foods when you prefer a night in. Double cottage pane doors from the bedroom and sunroom, afford the Rose Room with a view of the garden and open onto a covered, private patio that is flanked by a big, old oak tree, where you can enjoy your breakfast or have a braai in the evenings.
The Rose Room is on the level and adjacent to the parking, which makes it ideal for our more senior guests or young parents with a baby. A cot or mattress can be provided for a baby or child.
Original paintings, cottage furnishings, mosaic and marble tiled bathroom , are all part of the attention to detail that offers you this romantic accommodation in Hermanus.

We focus on self catering ~ A pre-packed, self service Breakfast hamper may be packed into your fridge at R120pp on request. This facility might not be available at certain times of the year.

Cancellation Policy:
- Cancellation 14 days and less before arrival date forfeits the deposit.
- Cancellation 21 days-14 days before arrival date forfeits 75% of the deposit
- Cancellation 30-21 days before arrival date forfeits 50% of the deposit.
- Cancellation admin fee 10% of total booking cost for all cancellations.
-All shortened stays are subject to the payment of the full cost of the accommodation reserved irrespective of reason.
- Please ensure that you have adequate travel insurance to cover cancellation penalties.
Whilst every reasonable precaution has been taken to ensure the safety of our guests and their possessions, the owners and management of Eastbury Cottage cannot be held responsible for any injury, loss or damage sustained on these premises.
Unit Specifications
- Full bathroom with a separate shower and heated towel rail. A baby bath is available on request. Fluffy cotton towels provided. Beach towels on request. Hairdryer provided.
- Flat screen Smart TV. DSTV (All Mnet Movie Channels, All Super Sport Channels and News Channel) OR Bring your own decoder and card. DVD player provided and complimentary library at Reception.
- The self-catering kitchenette is stocked with crockery and cutlery for two persons, a gas cooker, a grill/convection microwave, toaster, kettle, electric frying pan, sandwich toaster, egg boiler and under counter fridge, (additional freezer space on request). A gas grill barbecue is available for braaiing. Baby feeding chair on request.
- King size bed can be made up as separate twin beds. Pull out day bed for additional 2 guests in inter leading sun room. Baby camp cot on request. We use non-allergy, high quality duvets and pillows, fresh, crisp linen, to provide the perfect sleep. Electric blanket is great for chilly nights. Extra blankets supplied. SABS approved Cloud Nine Hospitality recommended mattresses used in all units. The Rose Room also has a cosy wood burning fireplace.
- Secure off street parking for one vehicle.
- Unfortunately we do not allow smoking in our facilities. We provide ash trays outside.
- This unit is only pet friendly by special request. Only small breed dogs will be considered.
