Guest Book comments from our recent and returning guests at Eastbury Cottage.
We have guests returning year after year, some from as far back as 1995 when Eastbury Cottage was first established!

Very close to our hearts are Rose and Jack Murdoch who visited us for many years as “Swallows” from Shropshire in England. We received a lovely Christmas card from Jack and Rose saying that sadly, due to their very senior years, they will not be flying to the Southern Hemisphere again. Here is a poem that Rose wrote for our guest book:
Dear Jenny, Just before we fly, we want to thank you for the braai: South African tradition meats with wors, kebabs and other treats, and Winston, nose to paws, asleep, and Shelly, down among our feet. Thanks too, to Cuyler for good cooking, and Craig, who willingly goes looking for Viv or Pretty when we knock– at any hour around the clock. To top it all, the fun we had with stories told by your dear Dad. If at home our spirits ebb, We’ll think of Malcolm, Joyce and Seb, and search our maps (perhaps for years) to find a Scottish town that bears the honourable name of Bowes. – Jack and Rose Murdoch, England

A little gem of a place in Hermanus! Absolutely enjoyed our stay in the Loft apartment. Very comfortable and even bit secluded from the rest of the property. Breakfast on the upstairs deck with Fernkloof Nature Reserve as a backdrop was an experience. Thank you Denise for the hospitality. We shall return.
