You will find that there is so much to do in Hermanus that you will wish that you had planned to stay longer. We shall be happy to book the following activities* for your enjoyment and pleasure.

Arts and Crafts
The Saturday market at Lemm’s Corner provides a wonderful selection of locally handcrafted goods and artworks. The market also functions on public holidays and daily during the Christmas season.

Art Galleries
In and around Hermanus are wonderful galleries exhibiting works by local artists.  If you are an avid artist, pop into Sandy’s Art Shop in Mitchell Street for your art supplies. (See links page)

Beaches
Spend hours and days relaxing on the most beautiful beaches in South Africa from the stretches of long white bleached sands to the sheltered, intimate coves in Hermanus and surrounds, or splash in the tidal pools, ride the waves or take a sunset stroll along the edge of the Kleinriver lagoon.

Bicycle Trails
Enjoy the scenery by bike on the bike trails along the mountain paths and beach paths.

Bird Watching
A bird hide on the Kleinriver lagoon offers views of about 130 species including pelicans and flamingos. The mountains, coastline, river and lagoon offer wonderful viewing in this bird lover’s paradise.


Cliff Paths
Enjoy walking along the world famous 10km seafront cliff path which is wheelchair friendly from the Windsor Hotel to the Marine Hotel.

From fly fishing in the dams and offshore angling at the edge of the lagoon, the rocks or the sandy beaches, to deep-sea charters, the avid fisherman has a wide choice.

Hiking in fernkloof

Over 50kms of hiking trails traverse the reserve through un-spoilt coastal mountain fynbos, offering spectacular panoramic views of the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley and Walker Bay.
