Here are some ideas to show your beloved just how special he/she is to you!

Perhaps a special dinner at Heritage Cottage on Marine Drive, The Manor House or Stanford Hills near Stanford, or one of our other amazing restaurants.   Sushi and cocktails to sounds of the waves crashing on Grotto Beach will get your heart beating.

A sunrise champagne breakfast or evening picnic on one of our lovely beaches could be one of the ways to enjoy this day of love.  Footprints and a romantic message in the sand could just be the message you are wanting to share with your partner to seal the union.  (That’s how the owner of Eastbury Cottage, Jenny, proposed to Graham eleven years ago and they are happily married today! )

Pack a basket for a sunset evening with drinks and snacks on Rotary Way on the Raed-na-Gael mountain range with a 360 degree view of Hermanus and the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley and watch the sun set over the Atlantic Ocean…and after the fires we had 3 weeks ago, see if you can spot the stunning red flame lilies that only flower after a fire.

Wine tasting in Hermanus is a must in the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley at our more than 12 wine estates or go Gin Tasting at Misty Mountains near Stanford just 20 kms from Hermanus.
