Hermanus accommodation – Enjoy the lovely Loft (Apartment)

Upstairs at Eastbury Cottage, we have the spacious Loft Apartment which sleeps 2 to 4 persons in two bedrooms. This bright and sunny apartment sleeps four adults very comfortably in 2 king size or 4 twin beds made up by request.  The sleeper couch can accommodate an additional younger guest for shorter stays. Please enquire about this facility. We will have a backup power system  so no electrical outages and guests will not be affected by Eskom electricity load shedding.

The lounge and dining area leads to an outside wooden deck from where you can hear the whales in the bay from June to November each year.  Enjoy relaxed outdoor living, while soaking up the sun on warm summer days, or sipping sun downers on sultry evenings.  Put your feet up and enjoy watching TV with DSTV or a complimentary DVD movie from our library.

There is a shower bathroom with an extractor fan.

The newly renovated kitchenette offers self-catering in the form of a fridge, convection mini oven, microwave, toaster and kettle, electric frying pan, egg boiler and gas hob for light meal preparation or warming up take-out meals. There is a gas grill braai on the deck.

Lovely views of the surrounding area and mountains can be enjoyed from this unit and makes the two bedroom Loft one of our most sought after units, especially by our “Swallow” guests from the Northern Hemisphere.   

The Loft Suite, a self-catering accommodation apartment is serviced daily except on public holidays (please see our policies here)   A fan is provided for hot summer days, wall heaters and electric blankets for chilly winter nights. Limited, free WiFi/internet is available via our Reception.  A wall safe is provided in the Loft. Laundry facilities are close by at Gwendas Laundry in the Pick and Pay car park.

A complimentary tea and coffee tray is placed in the Loft.  Guest toiletries are also just part of the little luxuries we hope will make you feel comfortable and at home in this spacious unit.

Rates are quoted on a room only basis per person sharing for the first two persons plus additional rate per 3rd and 4th person ~ Weekends: minimum booking of two nights~ Long weekends: will not be broken up ~ Single rate on request

We focus on self catering ~ A pre-packed, self service Breakfast hamper may be packed into your fridge at R120pp on request. This facility might not be available at certain times of the year.

THE LOFT      

2 x King or 4 twin beds and sleeper couch. Sleeps 2 to 4 adults)

From R900 – R1200pn for 2 persons sharing. Add from R200 to R250pp per additional 2 persons.

Single Rate: R800 – R900pn depending on season and length of stay

Regrettably – The Loft is NOT pet friendly.  

Cancellation Policy:

– Cancellation 14 days and less before arrival date forfeits the deposit.

– Cancellation 21 days-14 days before arrival date forfeits 75% of the deposit

– Cancellation 30-21 days before arrival date forfeits 50% of the deposit.

– Cancellation admin fee 10% of total booking cost for all cancellations.

-All shortened stays are subject to the payment of the full cost of the accommodation reserved irrespective of reason.

– Please ensure that you have adequate travel insurance to cover cancellation penalties.
